Senior Physician General Internal Medicine

The Medical Clinic at Kantonsspital Frauenfeld offers, in addition to extended basic internal medicine care, a very large range of specialist medical services with broad diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities. We are a SIWF-recognized training facility of category A in General Internal Medicine and operate training facilities for many other specialist medical trainings. Excellent training of resident physicians is just as important to us as holistic patient care and an excellent team spirit. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Physician General Internal Medicine starting 1. January 2027 or by arrangement. You will undertake Senior physician care of patients and supervision of resident physicians on the inpatient wards, the interdisciplinary emergency station, and the Medical Outpatient Clinic. In doing so, you are part of a team and will be supported by experienced senior physicians. Participation in the senior physician on-call system of the Medical Clinic as well as in the internal medicine consultation service for other clinics. Engagement in initial, advanced, and continuing education; at the same time, you will also benefit from a strong internal teaching culture. You bring with you Completed or advanced specialist training in General Internal Medicine. If the specialist title is not yet held, employment as a Deputy Senior Physician is also possible. A flair for interdisciplinary cooperation. Enjoyment of teamwork, professional exchange with your colleagues, and teaching. Organizational skills and social competence in dealing with patients and employees. Excellent German language skills and experience in the Swiss healthcare system.
