• Construction and further development of modern platforms with a focus on Kubernetes and container technologies
• Development of automation solutions as well as modern CI/CD pipelines
• Automation of platform, deployment, and development processes
• Use of classic infrastructure and virtualization solutions in specific application cases
• Co-design of technical standards, architectures, and best practices in DevOps Engineering
• Evaluation and introduction of new technologies and tools surrounding Kubernetes, containers, and automation

What you bring with you

• University degree in computer science or vocational training as an Informatiker/in EFZ or a career changer with comparable practical experience
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies as well as Linux
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps platforms such as GitLab or Azure DevOps
• Good knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and configuration management using Ansible or comparable technologies
• Experience in virtualization technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, or Proxmox is an advantage
• Enjoyment of automating, standardizing, and further developing solutions
• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working
• Good German skills; English skills (Level B2) are an advantage
• Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
