Deputy Ward Manager

For our nursing department, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a
Deputy Ward Manager 80-100% (w/m/d) with a view to the ward manager function

Do you want to take on responsibility in daily nursing care, support a team, and develop into a management function? Then we look forward to getting to know you.

Your main tasks

• You support the ward manager in the professional and organizational management of the nursing department and represent them in their absence.
• You coordinate daily processes and deploy employees according to their competencies.
• You take on primary nursing, plan and control the nursing process, and ensure careful nursing documentation as well as BESA recording.
• You accompany new employees and trainees, promote cooperation within the team, and participate in case discussions.
• You actively participate in the project to switch from BESA to interRAI LTCF.

Your profile

• Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/FH with professional experience in nursing in Switzerland, preferably in long-term care
• Interest in developing in the area of leadership
• Enjoyment in accompanying and developing a team, organizational skills, clear communication, and an independent, responsible way of working
• Confident handling of digital applications and very good German skills in speaking and writing
