Production Worker Railway Technology in Olten (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented production worker (m/f/d) for the manufacture of railway technology components in Olten. If you have an affinity for precision, enjoy working with technical drawings, and want to contribute to the production of high-quality railway systems, this position is just right for you.

In this position, you will manufacture railway technology components according to technical drawings while ensuring compliance with the required quantity and quality standards. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting various switch, track grate, and type plans as well as assembly documentation for railway switch drives. You will operate cranes for the distribution of sleepers according to layout and type plans and marked rail sections according to specifications. Your further tasks include the distribution and fastening of various connecting elements using torque machines, as well as drilling holes for grounding cables according to grounding plans and their installation. Supporting the assembly and adjustment of tongue devices (ZV) and associated materials is also part of your daily work.

For the position, you require German language skills at least at B1 level as well as a valid class B driver's license. Previous experience in a similar area is an advantage, but not mandatory. More important is the ability to understand technical drawings and assembly instructions, to bring high attention to detail, and to demonstrate a sense of quality.

In everyday work, you will work closely with your team to interpret and precisely implement technical plans. In addition to operating cranes and tools, you will ensure that all tasks are carried out in compliance with safety and quality standards. You will contribute to a smooth process of the production line by ensuring a clean and well-organized working environment. Should minor problems occur during the assembly process, you will intervene and resolve them independently.
