For our Steinhausen/ZG site, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer m/f/d 100% to complete our team of experts

Your future work content
In this role, you assume a central function in the industrialization and continuous development of our products. As a technical interface between development, production and suppliers, you ensure the manufacturability, assemblability and economical implementation of new and existing solutions.

• Active participation in interdisciplinary development projects, from functional prototype to series maturity, including prototype construction, validation, documentation as well as ensuring manufacturability, assemblability and profitability
• Technical direction of work packages as well as coordination of interdisciplinary interfaces in development, industrialization and improvement projects
• Transfer of technical know-how to suppliers and production sites, including training, documentation and support for qualification until series transfer
• Identification, evaluation and introduction of new manufacturing, assembly, testing and AI-assisted working methods, with a focus on technical feasibility, automation, quality and cost optimization
• Technical interlocutor for suppliers and production sites as well as coordination of sustainable solutions facing technical challenges
• Implementation of technical product improvements throughout the life cycle within the framework of the change management process

What speaks for you
You want to not only understand the products, machines and manufacturing processes, but also actively shape them? Then ideally you bring the following elements:

• Basic technical training, for example as a polymechanic, automation technician, mechatronics technician, designer or equivalent
• Engineering degree (HF/FH) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, systems technology, production technology or in a comparable technical discipline
• First professional experience in the fields of development, manufacturing engineering, production technology or industrialization
• Practical and initiative-driven spirit with strong autonomy and the ambition to actively shape subjects and implement them successfully
• Affinity for digital technologies and AI tools as well as interest in using them profitably in everyday engineering
• Availability for occasional international business travel (approximately 10%)
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
