Socio-cultural animator at 70% - Association des Maisons de quartier de Carouge

•Assume and develop, in collaboration with the team, responsibility for animation, socio-educational work and reception with all populations within the Carouge Est sector, as well as responsibility for links in associative, artistic and collective and participatory intervention fields;
•Participate in communication and the development of various documentation materials;
•Contribute to the development of associative life and the animation of the commune, in a context of urban evolution, with the aim of promoting exchange and communication between people of different social backgrounds, cultures and ages;
•Participate in the development of the animation program and the follow-up of the institutional project in connection with the association's committee;
•Assume field and management tasks in connection with the activities.

•Hold a bachelor's degree in social work or an equivalent diploma;
•Practice of socio-cultural animation in an associative environment;
•Pedagogical experience with children and young people aged 8 to 18 and supporting families;
•Interest/capacity for reflection on social issues (gender, racism, classes, etc.);
•Experience in managing a team of monitors;
•Recognized skills in conceptualization and management of participatory projects, sense of initiative, versatility and creativity;
•Ability and willingness to cooperate, to work in a large team, within a new location, and in a network: animators, team leaders, monitors, administrative and technical staff, management committee, volunteers, interveners, out-of-door social workers and other FASe locations, commune, neighborhood associations;
•Skills in managing communication tools (Instagram, Facebook, etc.);
•Sense of communication and social relations, collegial spirit and interpersonal skills;
•Ability to share workloads, while knowing how to demonstrate autonomy, rigor and responsibility;
•Ability to synthesize;
•Good knowledge of the Geneva social system and the functioning of the FASe;
•Sense of organization and planning, ability to manage priorities and emergencies;
•Ability to use standard computer software.

•Openness to flexible hours, also in the evening and on weekends;
•Interest in intercultural work;
•Driver's license desired;
