Technical Support Engineer / Application Engineer 80-100%

Since 1974, we have been developing and producing an extensive product range that finds application in almost all industrial applications – from the water and environmental industry to raw material extraction and aerospace. To strengthen our team in Winterthur in Sales Germany & Central/South-Eastern Europe, we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer / Application Engineer 80-100%. Main tasks • Technical and commercial contact person for our customers in the responsible sales region and for field service colleagues • Identification and recommendation of optimal solutions that balance technical reliability and customer benefit • Clarification of technical requirements by translating customer needs into precise specifications, framework conditions, and acceptance criteria • Solving complex technical problems by identifying causes, coordinating experts, and providing timely, clear answers to customers and subsidiaries • End-to-end coordination of support cases and projects through documentation of decisions, maintenance of project status, and ensuring that handovers and follow-ups are complete • Support of the local sales team during customer visits and participation in trade fairs Profile • Completed technical training in electronics or a related field • Higher technical education as a Dipl.-Ing (FH or similar) with a specialization in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable training is an advantage • Professional experience in the sensor industry and/or in sales is an advantage • Very good German and English skills, written and spoken • Proficient use of MS-Office • Enjoyment and interest in new technologies • Customer- and solution-oriented thinking and acting, as well as strong teamwork skills and good social competencies • Structured, analytical, goal-oriented way of working and high personal responsibility We offer • Versatile, varied activities in an experienced and committed team • Opportunity for a lateral entry into sales • Comprehensive induction and product training as well as long-term development opportunities • Interesting customer contacts and long-term cooperation with our existing customers • An ambitious, innovative, and extensive product range • An attractive working environment with proximity to production and development in an open corporate culture Please send your complete documents to Miriam Hartmann.
