In this position, you will take on a central role in the operation, administration and further development of a mission-critical GitLab platform. You will work in an experienced platform engineering environment with Kubernetes and OpenShift specialists and support development teams in making their CI/CD processes efficient, secure and scalable. Location: Zürich / Homeoffice Start: from September Duration: until , with extension option/takeover Workload: 100% Homeoffice: up to 3 days per week after onboarding Requirements: Several years of professional experience as a GitLab Engineer, GitLab Administrator, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer or CI/CD Engineer Very good practical experience with GitLab Self-Managed Sound knowledge in GitLab Administration, GitLab CI/CD and GitLab Runner Management Very good knowledge in CI/CD, Pipeline Design and automation Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge in Terraform, Ansible and/or Helm Solid experience in Linux System Engineering Experience with the operation and automation of complex platform infrastructures Independent, pragmatic way of working and a strong ownership mindset Ability to familiarize yourself with existing platforms and technical environments Good German and English skills, at least B2 Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: GitLab Geo GitLab Pages GitLab Kubernetes Agent SAST, DAST, Dependency Scanning or Container Scanning Artifact Management with Harbor, Nexus or Artifactory Monitoring and Observability with Prometheus and Grafana ArgoCD and GitOps OpenShift Service Provider, telecommunications or Managed Service environments Willingness for on-call duty Residence in Switzerland Compensation benefits: You work on a central developer and CI/CD platform in a technically demanding enterprise environment and have a direct influence on how software development and deployment processes are designed within the organization.
