Polymechanic / Production Mechanic

For our customer in Waldenburg, a renowned company that manufactures precise mechanical parts for medical technology, vacuum technology, and mechanical engineering, we are looking for a motivated Polymechanic / Production Mechanic as
CNC Machine Setter
per immediately or by arrangement

Your Task

• Setting up and operating CNC-controlled sliding automatic lathes (especially Traub TNL and Star machines)
• Programming new parts and adjusting/improving repeat orders
• Monitoring and increasing ongoing production
• First article manufacturing including inspection and, if necessary, release
• Optimizing and adhering to quality specifications
• Filling out inspection protocols and order documents
• Maintenance of the systems according to maintenance plans
• Introducing improvements

Qualifications

Your Profile

• a completed apprenticeship as a Polymechanic or equivalent training
• several years of experience in setting up and operating CNC lathes
• production experience on modern CNC controls (Mitsubishi, Fanuc)
• teamwork skills, willingness to learn, and precise working methods
• willingness to work shifts (two-shift)
• very good German skills
