Mikron Tool is an international leader in the development and production of carbide cutting tools. We are a continuously growing Swiss company, enthusiastic about innovation and technology. We specialize in the production of small and medium-sized high-performance tools for machining the most difficult materials such as stainless steels, heat-resistant alloys and titanium. In one of the most modern technological centers for micro-machining, machining processes are also developed within the scope of customer projects.

For our headquarters in Agno, Ticino, we are looking for a logistics area manager with leadership spirit and the desire to take on a management role in the future development of our organization.

Main duties

• Management, coaching, development of employees, leading and growing one's own group
• Use of vertical automatic storage systems such as Kardex and relative optimization of spaces
• Use of laser marking and robots dedicated to tool treatment
• Use of ERP systems and warehouse management software for the movement and traceability of materials.
• Knowledge of identification, coding and traceability procedures for tools and semi-finished products.
• Coordinate and develop personnel, ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of occupational safety regulations and correct methods for moving materials.
• Precision, reliability and strong orientation towards order and quality, indispensable for the management of high value-added products.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with production, planning, purchasing and shipping to ensure the continuity of the logistics flow.

• Availability for travel between the Agno and Rottweil (DE) sites.
• Hourly flexibility and availability to adapt one's presence according to operational and productive needs.
• Residence in Canton Ticino
