As a central point of contact, you will support seven schools and the administration in legal matters, bring structure to complex issues, and help shape the further development of the department. Your tasks • You are the first point of contact for legal questions and advise the management and DBW schools. • You will work independently on statements, appeals, applications, and legal clarifications in the field of vocational and continuing education, and provide legal support for political affairs and contract reviews. • In the school environment, you will ensure legally secure solutions and uniform application of the law within the department. • As a deputy head of Central Services, you will participate in staff and management tasks and represent the department as needed. • You will be involved in department-wide projects and support the department management in risk and opportunity management. Your profile • You have a completed law degree (Master or Licentiate) and already have professional experience - preferably in public law or a comparable advisory function. • You enjoy analyzing legal questions, developing pragmatic solutions, and advising different stakeholder groups in a competent and understandable manner. • You communicate with style, work independently and structured, and convince with a high service orientation and a confident appearance. • Thanks to your networked thinking, you keep an overview even in demanding situations and are happy to get involved in projects and cross-departmental issues. • You want to do more than just classical legal work and take on responsibility in staff, leadership, and management tasks - as a sparring partner for management and deputy head of Central Services.
