Locksmith / Metalworker (m/f/d) - Infrastructure & Track Construction

Introduction

For our client in the Basel area, we are looking for a committed and motivated personality as a metal construction locksmith / welder for track and infrastructure work (m/f/d) 100%. In this varied position, you will make an important contribution to the maintenance and safety of the track infrastructure. Tasks

• Execution of welding, locksmithing, and metal construction work on track systems
• Manufacturing, assembling, and repairing steel and metal constructions
• Processing rails and track components according to technical drawings
• Carrying out maintenance and repair work on the infrastructure
• Operation of various machines and tools
• Ensuring high work quality as well as compliance with safety regulations
• Readiness for night, weekend, and on-call shifts

Profile

• Completed training as a metal construction locksmith, Metalworker EFZ, Plant and Apparatus Builder EFZ, or comparable technical training
• Several years of professional experience in metal construction, steel construction, or locksmithing is an advantage
• Good welding skills (MAG/TIG an advantage)
• Experience in reading technical drawings
• Independent, precise, and responsible way of working
• Teamwork skills, reliability, and flexibility
• Driving license category B is an advantage
