Polymechaniker EFZ (m/w/d) 100%

For our client, an established company in the field of industrial manufacturing in the St. Gallen region, we are looking for an experienced Polymechaniker EFZ (m/w/d) for a temporary position in serial production and individual part manufacturing, starting immediately or by arrangement. Tasks: In this role, you are responsible for the independent setup, operation, and monitoring of modern CNC machining machines. You create and optimize CNC programs using a CAM system and manufacture both individual parts as well as small and medium series based on technical drawings. The independent planning and processing of production orders is as much a part of your daily routine as the professional selection and setup of tools and clamping devices. You carry out dimensional and quality controls, bear responsibility for the quality of your manufactured workpieces, and make an active contribution to the continuous improvement of production processes. In the event of minor malfunctions, you intervene quickly and competently to ensure smooth operational processes. Requirements: You have completed training as a Polymechaniker EFZ, Produktionsmechaniker EFZ, or an equivalent basic technical education, as well as sound practical experience in CNC manufacturing. Knowledge of CAM programming is a mandatory requirement, as is the ability to read and implement technical drawings reliably. You are used to setting up and programming CNC machines independently and are characterized by a strong sense of quality and responsibility.
