Nurse / Family respite and pediatric care / at 80% / permanent contract

Reporting to the family respite team, which is extending its mission of support to families by taking over and developing pediatric care services, the nurse ensures the home care of children requiring technical care usually provided in a hospital setting.

Your missions and responsibilities

• Offer and guarantee individualized care to children, taking into account physical, psychic, affective, spiritual, social, and cultural needs
• Exercise a role as a reference person and make decisions within the framework of interventions with families and children
• Commit concretely to accompanying and supporting families by developing a bond of trust with each family member and promoting exchanges
• Coordinate care with our partners within the network
• Participate in the promotion of clinical practices in an interprofessional approach in order to favor the diversification and quality of services in complex situations
• Keep skills up to date in connection with the evolution of professional practices
• Participate in the institutional mission aimed at promoting staying at home within a safe and stimulating framework for children.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or training deemed equivalent, completed by a post-graduate training in the field of child, adolescent, and family health
• Experience in caring for families in crisis situations
• Very good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Hospital experience in pediatric care
• Specific theoretical knowledge related to the impacts of illness on the family, such as the Calgary model and the systemic approach
• Contribute to the evolution and diversification of the team's activities
• Ability to work in interdisciplinarity and interprofessionality with the care network
• Mobility throughout the canton, driver's license mandatory.
