Automation Technician – PLC & Maintenance of Production Plants (m/f/d)

Our state-of-the-art production plants run around the clock and form the heart of manufacturing. To ensure smooth operation, specialists are needed who understand controls, systematically narrow down errors, and implement solutions directly at the machines. A versatile task awaits you with cutting-edge PLC technology such as Siemens S5, S7, TIA Portal, and Allen-Bradley.

Your tasks

• Maintenance of the production plants as well as troubleshooting of electrical, control, and mechanical systems
• Analysis, adjustment, and optimization of PLC programs
• Work on machine controls, supervisory computers, drive systems, and visualizations
• Further development of the existing plants as well as optimization of process reliability
• Updating of software and hardware documentation
• Close cooperation with the production team and external specialists

Qualifications

Your competencies

• Completed training as Automatiker/in EFZ, Techniker/in HF Automation, Elektrotechniker/in or comparable
• Experience with PLC controls in industrial production plants
• Knowledge of HMI/visualization, drive technology, as well as measurement and control technology is an advantage
• Broad understanding of electrical, control technology, and mechanical processes
• Independent, structured way of working and high solution orientation
• Very good German skills as well as willingness to work in a two-shift model
