To strengthen our plant engineering team, we are looking for you – a motivated engineer who enjoys challenging and diverse tasks in plant engineering. In this central role, you are responsible for the planning and technical specification of apparatus and plant equipment in demanding projects.
Your tasks
Dimensioning, specification and selection of plant equipment
Detailed planning for process plants with modern CAE tools (CADISON)
Creation of 3D models for apparatus and piping for optimal plant planning
Creation and review of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
Development and implementation of installation, removal and insertion plans
Carrying out cost estimates and cost calculations
Creation of plans, drawings and material take-offs
Support and coordination of suppliers as well as monitoring manufacturing and assembly
Carrying out inventory assessments and audits at customer sites
Carrying out factory acceptance tests and accompanying functional tests
Maintenance and updating of plant documentation
Close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal planning results
Your profile
Professional qualifications, experience and skills
Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, plant engineering, process engineering or a comparable qualification
Sound knowledge in the creation of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
Strong skills in the dimensioning, specification and selection of plant equipment
In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics and/or thermodynamics as well as their application in process plant engineering
Experience in using common planning and CAE software tools (e.g., Autodesk Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD, CADISON, COMOS)
Professional experience in process plant engineering, especially in handling equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, vessels, valves and instruments
Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing
Willingness to undertake occasional business trips and customer visits
