As a Middleware Engineer, you design the interfaces that network our applications and services with one another. You will work in a dynamic environment with technologically exciting tasks. To strengthen our Middleware & Integration team in St. Gallen, we are looking for a communicative and solution-oriented personality as a Middleware-Platform Engineer (m/w/d), starting immediately or by arrangement.

What awaits you? ##

• Engineering, operation and further development of the middleware platform (Kafka, Message, Call and File)
• Support for developers in the integration of applications
• Cooperation with experts from network, storage, OS and databases
• Automation of routine tasks

What do you bring with you? ##

• Completed training in computer science or comparable professional experience
• At least 1 year of experience with Kafka, ideally with Red Hat Streams on OpenShift
• Sound experience in dealing with APIs (design, integration and operation)
• Knowledge of IBM MQ is desirable
• Routine in dealing with enterprise operating systems such as AIX, Linux and Windows
• Knowledge of Kotlin, Java as well as Argo CD in connection with Helm is an advantage
• Readiness for on-call duties
• Very good German skills (at least level C1)
