Software Technician (f/m/d)

Job Overview

As a Software Specialist, you play a key role in the deployment, configuration and support of our access control solutions. You intervene with our clients to ensure the implementation of software platforms, the integration of associated infrastructures and the support of users throughout the project lifecycle.

You work in close collaboration with project teams, field technicians, our partners and our clients to guarantee reliable, secure and high-performance installations.

What you will do

• Carry out the installation, configuration and migration of our access control software at our clients.
• Ensure the parameterization, integration and commissioning of software solutions within the clients' IT infrastructures.
• Participate in the creation, configuration and administration of server and network environments necessary for the operation of our systems.
• Coordinate technical activities with clients' IT teams, project managers and external partners.
• Provide level 1 and 2 technical support for software solutions.
• Accompany our technicians and partners during the deployment and commissioning phases.
• Perform technical analyses, diagnostics and incident resolutions.
• Train client users and administrators on the use of our solutions.

What we ask

• Higher education in IT (CFC, ES/ET, HES or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role oriented towards software, infrastructure or systems.
• Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructures and computer networks.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and virtualized environments.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Additional skills in implementation and management of backup solutions and in deployment and management of IT monitoring solutions will be highly appreciated
• Experience in electronic security systems, access control, video surveillance or identity management constitutes an important advantage.
• Excellent customer service sense, autonomy and ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
• Availability for travel to clients in French-speaking Switzerland.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good command of French as well as English and/or German.
