Gymnasium Neufeld is a state school of the Canton of Bern with around 1'850 students, 200 teachers and 60 employees. The school sets clear and high requirements for teachers and learners and places value on comprehensive advice and support. It is divided by focus subjects into a humanities and social sciences, a mathematical-natural sciences, and an economic and legal sciences department. Education in the fourth department, the Berner Maturitätsschule für Erwachsene, leads to a maturity certificate or the Passerelle examination. The fifth department, the kantonale Fachmittelschule, offers a three- or four-year educational program with a cantonal Fachmittelschule or Fachmaturität degree.

Your tasks

As a secretariat employee, you fulfill an important hub function in school administration. You support the school management, supervise administrative processes and develop them further. As part of our secretariat team, you are involved in diverse daily school life.
You are in direct contact with students, teachers, parents and authorities, answer inquiries competently and ensure smooth processes. In short: you organize, coordinate, communicate -- and maintain an overview even in hectic situations.

Your profile

You have a commercial or equivalent training. Experience in a school environment or a comparable field is an advantage. You enjoy working in a team and communicate with stylistic confidence in German. French and English skills are welcome. You value the exchange with our different stakeholder groups and are proficient in the use of IT applications. You are resilient and work independently, reliably and responsibly.
