What awaits you ##

• Tasks as a class and subject teacher as well as course instructor within the Zivilschutzorganisation
• Participation in the ZSO command / battalion staff within the framework of leadership and staff work in training, planning, and deployment
• Co-responsibility in the planning and implementation of refresher courses together with the militia officers
• Leadership of the subordinate persons liable for protection service during deployment
• Responsibility for the personnel planning of the assigned functions and formations
• Creation of concepts, orders, training documents, as well as other deployment- and training-relevant basics
• Material responsibility in the assigned specialist area and advising the department management on material procurement
• Support for logistics employees in the maintenance and in ensuring the operational readiness of the material
• Participation in the budget planning within your own area of responsibility
• Maintenance and further development of the network to institutions, partner organizations, and other civil protection agencies
• Assumption of further tasks on behalf of the department management

What do you bring with you ##

• Completed, at least three-year vocational training
• Completed training as a Civil Protection Instructor with a federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis) or demonstrable instruction, leadership, and training experience in the army, fire department, civil protection, or a comparable organization
• Strong interest in civil protection, understanding of its partner organizations and the security architecture of Switzerland, as well as the motivation to commit to the safety and protection of the population
• Enjoyment in the training of adults as well as the ability to convey complex content understandably and in a practical manner
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Very good ICT user knowledge
• Confident, credible, and exemplary appearance
• Assertiveness, initiative, organizational skills, flexibility, resilience, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to provide service in the Zivilschutzorganisation, provided there is no compulsory military service
• Flawless reputation
