Sociocultural Animator 75% on a fixed-term contract - Maison de quartier Ouches - Concorde

•Assume responsibility for animation, socio-educational work, and free reception of the neighborhood's inhabitants: children and pre-teens; in respect of the association's project; •Participate in the development of associative life and neighborhood animation, through a sharing space, meetings, exchanges, and activities open to the population, promoting respect, tolerance, and solidarity among inhabitants of different cultures; •Actively participate in the development of the center's activity program and in the monitoring of the associative project in consultation with the team and the management committee; •Assume management tasks related to activities, including supervision of monitors. •Hold a Bachelor's degree in social work, HES level, or an equivalent university degree; •Proven experience in sociocultural animation with different types of populations: children, teenagers, young adults, and all audiences; •Ability and willingness to cooperate, work in a team with: animators, monitors, administrative and technical staff, as well as the management committee; •Real sense of communication by email and orally; •Good sense of organization and planning, particular ability to manage priorities and emergencies; •Recognized skills in project conceptualization and management; ability to use common computer software; •Sense of initiative, autonomy, innovation, and creativity, ability to take responsibilities; ability and willingness to work in a network with territorial partners. •For reasons of balance within the team, priority will be given to a female application; •Salary according to the salary scale of the State of Geneva: maximum class 15; •Open to varied schedules (activities on Wednesday afternoons, Friday evenings, as well as - depending on projects - Saturdays and during school vacations); •Driving license desired; •Entry into function to be planned from August 17, 2026; •Application deadline: July 12, 2026; The Geneva Foundation for Sociocultural Animation is a partner institution, financed by the Canton and the communes, which has the mission of promoting and maintaining social cohesion in the canton of Geneva, i.e., ensuring the quality of the relationship between individuals and society.
