Job Description Set up job subscription   Cyber Security Engineer (w/m/d) # IT / Bern / Experienced / Permanent/ 40% - 100% What awaits you ## As a Cyber Security Engineer in the Cyber Defence Center Fundamentals team, you will contribute significantly to the protection of our systems and data. Together with your colleagues, you will further develop and operate central security platforms and drive their automation. What you will achieve with us ## Together with your colleagues, you will ensure the technical basis for the Cyber Defense Center and other teams. You will develop and operate central security platforms and ensure that they remain stable, secure, and future-proof. With your engineering know-how and your implementation-oriented way of working, you will contribute to the continuous further development of our platforms. You work in modern platform environments with a focus on the Microsoft security environment and also bring your experience to other platforms. With PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Git, or comparable technologies, you automate processes, integrate new systems and data sources, and continuously optimize existing platforms and operational processes. You analyze and resolve disruptions sustainably, document your work traceably, and support technical developments as well as migrations. In doing so, you take responsibility for reliable operation and implement improvements in a structured and understandable manner. You work closely with colleagues from Cyber Security and IT and contribute your technical expertise to joint solutions. With your service orientation and clear communication, you support various stakeholders and contribute to a trusting and successful cooperation. What you bring with you ## • Sound experience in the engineering and operation of IT platforms (including Windows, Linux), ideally in the Cyber Security environment • Good knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Terraform, and Git or comparable technologies • Enjoyment in using modern technologies and AI-supported tools, as well as initial practical experience in bringing them profitably into everyday work • An open and communicative personality with a strong team spirit and a high level of service understanding • Experience with agile working methods such as Scrum or SAFe as well as enjoyment in documenting knowledge and sharing it within the team • Curiosity about new technologies and motivation to actively help shape the further development of our Cyber Security platforms Working with us ## A committed and agile team awaits you, which values open cooperation, mutual support, and collective success.
