For our clientele - various joinery and shopfitting companies from the Canton of Lucerne - we are constantly looking for experienced shopfitting joiners, assembly joiners, interior design joiners, and joiners EFZ for long-term temporary assignments.

The assembly work takes place in the Lucerne region or on construction sites throughout Switzerland, depending on the order. If the cooperation suits you and the operating company, there is the possibility of a later permanent position directly with the customer.

Important: This job advertisement is aimed at candidates who already have a permanent residence or their own accommodation in Central Switzerland. Permanent accommodation will not be organized by us or our customers.

Job Description ##

Depending on the operating company and project, you will undertake the following tasks:

• Assembly of high-quality shop fittings
• Furniture assembly for new builds and renovations
• Assembly of kitchens, cabinets, doors, and built-in furniture
• Interior design assembly in sales areas, offices, hotels, and public buildings
• Assembly of wall and ceiling coverings
• Installation of prefabricated joinery work
• Adjustment and finishing work on the construction site
• Operation of hand machines and assembly tools
• Working according to assembly plans and technical drawings
• Quality control and clean handover of the performed work
• Cooperation with site managers, customers, and other craftsmen
• Regional or Switzerland-wide assembly assignments

Deployment regions: Our customers are headquartered in the Canton of Lucerne. The construction sites are located in the following regions depending on the project: Lucerne, Obwalden, Nidwalden, Schwyz, Zug, Zürich, Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft, Solothurn, Aargau, Bern and other regions of German-speaking Switzerland.

We expect ##

We expect:

• Completed training as a Joiner EFZ
• Alternatively several years of professional experience as a shopfitting joiner, assembly joiner, or interior design joiner
• Good experience in furniture assembly or interior design assembly
• Confident reading of assembly plans and technical drawings
• Manual dexterity and good spatial imagination
• Independent, precise, and clean way of working
• Flexibility and willingness for regional as well as Switzerland-wide assignments
• Willingness to work irregular hours if the project requires it
• Willingness for occasional overnight stays away from home
• Good German language skills
• Neat appearance and good manners towards customers
• Driver's license category B is an advantage
• Own car for commuting to the company headquarters or meeting point is an advantage
• Permanent residence or already existing own accommodation in Central Switzerland
