Release Train Engineer (m/f/d)

What you can move. • As a Release Train Engineer, you work together with the Product Manager and System Architect to shape the prerequisites for a high-performance Agile Release Train and promote effective, interdisciplinary collaboration. • Together with the Scrum Masters, you set clear organizational and procedural frameworks and drive the further development of the organization. • You are responsible for the planning and execution of the ART events and processes according to SAFe and align these with the requirements of safety-critical railway systems. • Through proactive workforce and financial management, you ensure the availability of the right competencies together with suppliers and partners. • With a systemic view, you recognize connections, dependencies, and bottlenecks in complex system and organizational landscapes and initiate sustainable improvements. • With moderation, conflict resolution, and transparent communication, you support teams across team and department boundaries and strengthen a culture of trust, diversity, self-organization, and continuous improvement. What you bring with you. • As a Servant Leader, you convince with a natural flair for people, promote self-organization, and inspire with solutions and ideas. • With strong communication across all levels, resilience, and clarity, you lead in decisive moments and build sustainable relationships in stakeholder management. • An independent, pragmatic, and responsible way of working characterizes you, and as a specialist leader, you support and promote individual development as well as a culture of continuous improvement. • You bring experience as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer in agile product development in a technically, professionally, and socially complex environment, including practice in large-group moderations. • You effectively apply very good knowledge of agile roles, responsibilities, principles, and methods according to SAFe, and you support and moderate the relevant events; you are proficient in working with Jira, Miro, Microsoft Teams, and Confluence. • A tertiary degree in computer science or economics at FH, university, or ETH level or an equivalent education is present; you communicate confidently in German at least at level C1 and in English at least at level B2, and industry knowledge in the railway context is an advantage.
