To complete our Medic-Help team at the BAZ Bern center, we are looking for a registered nurse at 60% - 100% as soon as possible or by arrangement.

Your responsibilities ##

• Ensure and guarantee basic medical care to asylum seekers in the center, taking into account existing directives (BEKO, SEM manual - medical access for asylum seekers and procedures at the BAZ, medication management guide, BAG epidemic management manual, and ORS processes)
• Lead and organize efficient triage according to urgency and severity, then coordinate with medical organizations (emergency, rescue services, doctors, dentists)
• Perform first medical aid in case of emergency, nursing care, and measures prescribed by the doctor
• Organize, advise, and sometimes personally conduct regular training for non-medical staff/center management in the field of basic medical care, emergency procedures, and prevention
• Ensure contact and information flow with doctors, counseling centers, and other professionals
• Guarantee the permanence of daily consultation
• Assume responsibility for care and medical file management

Your profile ##

• Tertiary education: Federal Professional Examination (EPF) or equivalent (e.g., HF diploma)
• Registered Nurse HF / FH
• 0 to 1 year of relevant professional experience
• Team spirit, high social competence, and sense of responsibility
• Composure in difficult situations and openness to different cultures
• Organizational talent and planning ability
• Basic knowledge and user of MS Office applications
• Clean criminal record (no entry in the debt collection register and criminal record)
• German | oral: C1 | written: C1
• French | oral: B1 | written: B1 (an asset)
• English | oral: B1 | written: B1
