The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrischen Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the extended basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population of the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the Canton and beyond.

In the Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie under the nursing management of Herr Sven Lang, Nathalie Scola is looking for a dipl. Pflegefachperson in the field of acute psychiatry starting 01.10.2026 or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Professional care of our patients as a reference person in the nursing process from admission to discharge in an interdisciplinary team
• Implementation and design of group offers as well as planning and implementation of regular individual talks
• Co-design of the ward environment and the ward processes
• Possibility for further special tasks or participation in working groups
• Support of the vocational trainers in the training of future nursing professionals

Your profile

• Completed training as Dipl. Pflegefachfrau/-mann HF
• 1-2 years of experience in acute psychiatry is an advantage
• Flexibility and interest in working in an interprofessional treatment team
• Readiness and joy to work in an environment with rapidly changing situations
• Readiness for shift work in a 24 hour operation
