The Bürgerliches Waisenhaus, with its pedagogical network, enables toddlers, children, adolescents, and young adults to receive promotion and care appropriate to their age and development. The inpatient offering includes a transitional group, five children's groups, two youth groups, two external living groups, and one residential boarding school. For the transitional group Kartause, we are looking for YOU starting October 1, 2026 (or by arrangement) as Social Worker FH/HF (m/f/d) 60 % ## In the open inpatient transitional group Kartause of the Bürgerliches Waisenhaus Basel, we accompany adolescents aged 12 to 18 who are in a challenging life situation or acute crisis. We offer a safe place where they can find calm, develop new perspectives, and work out steps for positive future planning.  Your tasks: ### • You carry out full key person work and the documentation required for it. • Together with the team, you shape a structured everyday life and a positive group atmosphere. • Within approx. 3-6 months, you carry out pedagogical needs assessments with the team and work closely with our liaison psychologist (UPKKJ) for test-psychological assessments. • You work based on the principles of trauma pedagogy, life-world orientation, and standards of cooperative process design. • You maintain cooperation with parents, specialist agencies, and other cooperation partners.
