Chauffeur / Driver Category C1 (m/f/d) – Old Clothes Collection (Temporary) Location: Region Luzern Employment type: Temporary / Fixed-term (Workload by agreement / 100%) Start date: Immediately or by agreement About the position Are you flexible, enjoy being on the road, and are looking for a temporary challenge? For the professional collection of old clothes in the Region Luzern, we are looking for a motivated and physically fit chauffeur of category C1 for a temporary assignment, starting immediately. In this role, you will independently undertake the emptying of our textile containers and ensure smooth transport to the transshipment points. Your main tasks Container emptying: Reliable driving to the assigned collection points and emptying the old clothes containers. Tour management: Efficient route processing using digital recording devices (PDA). Transshipment & Logistics: Secure transport of the collected textiles (up to 1.2 tonnes per load) to the transshipment and sorting plants. Vehicle maintenance: Responsible driving of the C1 vehicle as well as its professional maintenance and cleaning. What you bring with you Driving license: Valid driving license of category C1 (vehicles up to 7.5 t) including CZV driver training. Driving experience: Experience in driving commercial vehicles. Physical fitness: Good resilience and enjoyment of physical work (lifting heavier loads). Local knowledge: Good regional knowledge in the Canton Luzern and surroundings is an advantage.
