PLC Programmer – Operating and Safety Systems (BSA) – Tunnel Technology and Automation 80-100% (m/f/d)

As an innovative SME of the Marti Technik Gruppe, we realize automation projects, mainly for energy, lighting, and ventilation systems in tunnels, railway stations, or airports.

To strengthen our PLC team, we are looking for a committed personality, immediately or by arrangement, who wants to design projects and take on responsibility with us.

PLC Programmer – Operating and Safety Systems (BSA) – Tunnel Technology and Automation 80-100% (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU CAN MOVE WITH US

• Programming: independent programming of PLC/HMI (predominantly Siemens TIA Portal)
• Communication: configuration of Profinet and OPC UA, construction of redundant systems, connection of frequency converters and external systems
• Project phases: collaboration in planning, engineering, factory testing, and commissioning
• Support: execution of troubleshooting and service assignments, technical support for customers and internal teams
• Documentation: creation of implementation specifications, concepts, and software documentation

WHAT YOU BRING

• Education: basic electrical engineering training / Automatiker/in EFZ
• Further education: ideally Techniker HF or Ingenieur FH (electrical engineering, automation, computer science)
• Professional experience: PLC experience, tunnel technology is an advantage
• Specialist knowledge: good PLC programming skills, especially with Siemens TIA Portal (SCL) or Codesys (ST); knowledge in OPC UA and bus systems such as Profinet, DALI, and Modbus
• Advantageous: experience with network technology, Azure DevOps, and handling AI
• Personal strengths: motivated and willing to learn, structured and independent way of working, ability to work in a team
• Languages: very good German skills, basic knowledge of English and French
• Mobility: willingness to travel (~20 %, predominantly German-speaking Switzerland, occasionally nearby foreign countries), occasional night work during commissioning, driving license Cat. B
