Senior Physician Anesthesia Our department performs around 3500 anesthesias annually in the areas of general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, urology, hand and plastic surgery as well as neurosurgery of the lumbar spine. Anesthesiology includes all common anesthesia procedures in these disciplines with a focus on regional anesthesia including catheter techniques. Senior Physician Anesthesia 80% as of 1. October 2026 or by arrangement permanent Your tasks In this responsible position, you support the department management in the professional and personnel leadership of the anesthesia area and ensure high-quality anesthesiological care in all operative and interventional areas described above. You are significantly involved in the planning, organization and continuous development of clinical workflows and processes and share responsibility for patient safety, quality management as well as compliance with relevant standards. In addition, you are involved in the further training of nursing staff in the anesthesia area. Close interdisciplinary cooperation with surgical specialties, the IMC unit, the emergency station and other services is just as much a part of your everyday life as participation in the medical on-call service. Furthermore, you actively participate in strategic projects and the further development of the medical offering. Your profile You possess a specialist title in anesthesiology (FMH or an equivalently recognized qualification) and bring several years of clinical experience as a senior physician in anesthesia. Your professional competence covers a wide spectrum of general and regional anesthesia as well as emergency medicine. You are characterized by good leadership and social competence, team orientation as well as a high degree of responsibility and decisiveness. You also remain resilient and act in a solution-oriented manner in demanding situations. A strong commitment to quality, patient safety and continuous improvement is a matter of course for you.
