With your leadership strength, your pedagogical understanding, and your political intuition, you will play a decisive role in shaping the future of Primarschule Wädenswil. Primarschule Wädenswil teaches around 2'000 students in six school units at eight locations and employs around 600 employees. As a modern educational organization, it stands for a high-quality public school and the continuous further development of its educational offerings. As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for an experienced and convincing personality as Head of Education. In this versatile leadership role, you hold the overall operational responsibility for Primarschule Wädenswil. You lead the school management, the general management of childcare, the specialist departments, and the school administration, and you ensure the pedagogical quality and further development of the school. Together with the school presidency, you implement strategic guidelines, develop the organization in a future-oriented manner, and create the prerequisites for successful school and instructional development. In addition, you are responsible for position and resource planning, budgeting, and the coordination of cross-school projects. As a central contact person, you represent the school to authorities, specialist departments, and other stakeholders and work closely with the city administration. You have a basic pedagogical education, school management training, as well as further training in educational management or a comparable qualification. You also bring several years of leadership experience in the education sector and sound knowledge of the Zurich public school system. You combine strategic and networked thinking with decisiveness and strong communication skills.
