Your tasks

• As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will care for patients with addiction disorders and comorbid disorders in an inpatient setting and accompany them as part of their psychiatric treatment.
• After thorough induction, you will take on case management tasks as well as individual psychotherapy work and group therapies with patients in close cooperation with our interdisciplinary team.
• Your varied everyday work offers you insight into the entire spectrum of psychiatric clinical pictures and thus enables you to gain diverse professional experience.
• As an assistant psychologist, you will coordinate treatments, plan the corresponding therapies, and carry out test-psychological assessments.
• In addition to your participation in reports, case discussions, and continuing education, you will maintain close exchange with the other practitioners and ensure careful documentation.

Your profile

• With a completed degree in psychology, you possess the required professional qualification, whereby recognition by the PsyKo is required for a foreign degree.
• Your federally recognized psychotherapy further training is already advanced and thus forms an important basis for your further professional development.
• For your activity, you possess an assistant permit for psychotherapy from the Canton of St. Gallen to work under supervision or fulfill the necessary requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
• Independent working is as much to your liking as an open and empathetic manner with patients, while at the same time you value collaboration in a committed team.
• Very good German language skills at least at level C1 round off your profile and enable you to communicate securely and professionally in everyday work.

Verbal offer

You will receive a verbal confirmation from us if we decide on you after the second interview, and we will ask you if you are also still convinced by us. If we agree, we will prepare your contract.

The contract

In the following days, we will send you the contract in duplicate by mail. With the contract, you will also receive relevant information regarding your employment.

Preboarding

Between the acceptance of the position and the first day of work, as a new employee, you can already access relevant internal information. This allows you to form a nuanced picture of the company and prepare for the job.

First day of work

On the first day, onboarding awaits you in your new team and with other colleagues. You will set up your new workplace and gain an overview of your next tasks. In addition, you will receive your individual induction plan, which will help you to find your way around quickly.
