I like both pairs of shoes extraordinarily well. And yet, I could not say no when I was offered a position as PDL. So, I am leaving azwa with a heavy heart at

the end of the year

I very much hope that a great successor will be found for my position as Residential Group Leader! How about you?

The azwa is a modern house for 90 elderly people in need of care, divided into two houses and four residential groups. The residential group for people with dementia includes 13 single rooms and a spacious protected garden with a rabbit hutch. Innovation, reliability, respect, humor, and working together are important to us. Our management philosophy can be summarized in one short sentence: gmeinsam zur beschte Lösig.

As Residential Group Leader, I work closely with the specialist responsible for the residential group, Kornelia. She is responsible for ensuring nursing quality and all nursing matters; I am responsible for management tasks such as creating monthly and vacation schedules, employee appraisals. Of course, I also work in direct care, and as WGL, I am represented in the management team.

Does the job appeal to you?

Do you have tertiary-level nursing training, leadership training (or the willingness to complete one), a heart for people with dementia, are you proficient with a PC and the German language, are you committed, cooperative, and preferably also humorous and upbeat?
