We respect, embrace and invite diversity in all its forms to actively cultivate an environment where everyone can thrive and realize their full potential. • Be responsible for the delivery of work according to the fees agreed with the project manager • Delivery of quality tasks within the agreed deadlines and fees • Manage technical project / site issues • Present to clients if necessary at certain times • Form project teams from internal and external resources • Procure project resources • Communicate with authorities • Participate in team meetings and play an active role in the development of procedures within your team • Have an understanding of the business plan, mission statements and key challenges • Know conceptual design, constructability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement methods, risk assessment and claims assessment • Prepare drawings and calculations. Check drawings / review calculations of engineers (or CAD sometimes) • Know our CAD delivery standards • Contribute to the project QA policy • Implement the project QA policy • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the office filing system according to the office standard. • Review and comment on company procedure documents using the feedback system • Apply health & safety, quality and training policies • May serve as project engineer and designated client contact on smaller and less complex projects • Must possess between 5 and 10 years of professional experience in PH • Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, including the ability to manage conflicting demands to meet deadlines, prioritize a heavy workload and be willing to work flexibly. • Comprehensive understanding of NFPA codes, particularly NFPA 13, 14 & 20 • Comprehensive understanding of codes such as NBC/UPC/ASPE/IPC and local regulations. • Life cycle cost analysis for various systems. • Preparation of water consumption charts. • Preparation of comparisons between different wastewater treatment methods. • Design requirements for solid waste management • Preparation of irrigation designs. • Understanding of water bodies and swimming pool designs • Preparation of PHE design reports • Design PHE systems and single line diagrams for the system. • Spatial planning at the conceptual stage. • Knowledge of pump head calculations, hydraulic calculations. • Design of PHE system layouts in coordination with architects, the client and structural consultants. • Preparation of specifications, bills of quantities and price estimates. • Assist during tender calls and negotiation meetings with suppliers with the client to represent technical issues. • Coordination between departments such as Electrical / HVAC and others to ensure good service coordination.
