Locarno airbase, 6595 Riazzino | 80-100% (job sharing possible) Your contribution • Administer, manage and ensure the proper operation of radar, radio and communication systems • Ensure the availability of the basic TIC infrastructure and communication connections necessary for the operation of military airfields, ensuring their continuous and reliable operation • Analyze, identify and resolve malfunctions, anomalies or failures in complex systems, ensuring rapid restoration of operability and correct documentation of interventions carried out • Manage the technical inventory, warehouse and specialist documentation, also collaborating in the planning, installation, assembly and disassembly of hardware components • Collaborate on projects related to the operation, development and management of the life cycle of systems, ensuring at the same time the local representation of the Air Traffic Control Support Locarno <br /> What sets you apart • Basic technical training (AFC) in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, telecommunications or network technology • Professional experience in the operation, management or maintenance of TIC infrastructures; interdisciplinary technical knowledge in the TIC and air traffic safety systems sectors is an advantage • Specific training or instructions related to the operation and maintenance of air safety control systems, such as radar, radio systems, voice communication and TIC platforms, are an advantage • Interest in complex technical environments, strong predisposition to continuous learning and willingness to acquire new technical skills as well as to follow specialized training in the field of radar systems, aeronautical communications and critical TIC infrastructures • Autonomous, solution-oriented and proactive personality, with a precise, structured and responsible method of work • Good knowledge of English (level B1 or higher) is an advantage; written and oral skills in a second official language, adequate to the needs of the function, are also required, Driver's license category B <br /> In summary As a technical support specialist for air traffic control systems, you can expect a very interesting and challenging task in a highly secure and solid TIC environment of the Swiss Army to manage air traffic control systems and network infrastructure at the Locarno airbase and related locations.
