In this role, you will take on a central role in the development and design of sophisticated tools and technical solutions for modern production and forming processes.

We are not looking for a pure CAD drafter, but rather an experienced design engineer with technical depth and an understanding of industrial manufacturing processes.

Your task ##

• Development and design of tools and components in the field of forming technology
• Technical elaboration of solutions for production and manufacturing processes
• Optimization of existing tools and systems with regard to quality, service life, and efficiency
• Close cooperation with production, toolmaking, and engineering
• Support of prototypes, tests, and technical adjustments
• Support in technical projects and further developments
• You develop solutions that must function reliably in production later on.

Your profile ##

• Training as a design engineer, polymechanic, or toolmaker with further training in the field of mechanical engineering or design
• Several years of experience in design and forming technology
• Very good CAD knowledge (3D-CAD)
• Understanding of industrial manufacturing and forming processes
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Technical personality with high personal responsibility
