Shape one of the largest datacenter projects in Switzerland.
Overall responsibility as the client representative for the development and realization of a strategic datacenter major project - from several construction sites to the central energy and site infrastructure, up to a planned datacenter capacity of around 300 MW and an investment volume in the billions.

Your area of responsibility ##

• Overall responsibility for the control and coordination of the total project across all construction sites as well as infrastructure and energy projects
• Ensuring overarching project goals in terms of costs, schedules, quality, safety, permits, risks, and stakeholder requirements
• Leadership and coordination of the responsible project managers for Plot A, Plot B, Plot C, and Plot Energie
• Ensuring an integrated master schedule as well as controlling dependencies and critical milestones between the individual sub-projects
• Controlling the interfaces between project development, engineering, construction, procurement, finance, legal, operations, and commissioning as well as with external partners and authorities
• Ensuring and continuously developing uniform project governance, decision-making structures, project control, and reporting systematics

Monitoring overall project costs and forecasts as well as controlling significant awards, changes, and financial project risks

• Controlling overarching project risks, escalations, and conflicting objectives, as well as bringing about critical project decisions
• Developing sound decision bases and management reports for executive management, CEO, Board, and owners
• Ensuring clear responsibilities, competencies, and decision-making paths within the overall project organization
• Representing the client's interests towards planners, general contractors, suppliers, energy providers, authorities, and other strategic partners
• Ensuring consistent and target-group-oriented communication towards management, owners, authorities, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring a structured handover of the individual sub-projects to commissioning, operations, and customer fit-out

Your skills ##

• Several years of leadership experience in the overall management and realization of complex major projects in the high triple-digit million to billion range, preferably in the datacenter, industrial, energy, or infrastructure sector
• Proven experience as a client representative, general project manager, program director, or in a comparable senior project function
• Experience in the leadership and control of several parallel sub-projects as well as interdisciplinary project teams
• Strong competence in project control as well as cost, schedule, risk, contract, and change management
• Experience in working with executive management, Board, owners, authorities, and strategic project partners
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking as well as high decision-making, leadership, and assertiveness skills
• Ability to structure complex relationships, set priorities, and develop sound decision bases for management
