Operations Electrician / Telematician (100%)

from January 2027

The Goetheanum building administration is responsible for the maintenance, conservation, development, smooth operation and a large part of the security of the Goetheanum, its properties as well as the Goetheanum site and its infrastructure. It carries out renovations, restorations, transformations and new constructions.

From January 2027, we are looking for:

Head of the electrical department as an operations electrician / telematician (100%)

Your main tasks are:

• Responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of security systems in contact with service companies (BMA, MRWA, NRWA, emergency power supply, security and evacuation route lighting, compensation system, elevators, anti-intrusion alarm system, etc.)
• Monitoring the controls of the ESTI high voltage inspection as a contact person for the network management tasks outsourced to external operators of our transformer station
• Responsibility for the training and compliance with the electrical safety concept
• Planning, execution and quality control of electrical installations as an operations electrician and of IT network installations in coordination with the IT department
• Programming and maintenance of the telephone system, including contacts with the company service
• Planning of materials and deadlines, purchasing and stock management of work equipment
• Management of one employee (notably intervention planning, report writing)
• Electrical on-call service in collaboration with the employees of the technical service

For this, you bring:

• Completed electrician training (preferably in Switzerland) or you have already held a Swiss operations electrician authorization with a previous employer
• Several years of experience in a similar activity, for example the management of electrical installations, security systems and ideally telephone systems
• You work with a great sense of responsibility, in a structured, factual and very autonomous manner
• You communicate clearly and know how to coordinate well in a team
• Conscientious work as a service provider with on-call duties is not foreign to you
