SMD and THT Technician

Introduction

For one of our clients operating in the electronics sector, we are selecting a THT/SMT Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance interventions on production machines and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic faults.
• Support the production department during technical anomalies and plant shutdowns.
• Monitor the status of equipment and report any critical issues.
• Collaborate with the Process Engineering department to resolve issues related to processes and plants.
• Participate in the installation, modification, and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Analyze the performance of THT and SMT processes, identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Propose and implement corrective and improvement actions aimed at increasing reliability and productivity.

Profile

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in electronics or assembly contexts.
• Good knowledge of THT processes and, preferably, SMT.
• Experience with selective and wave soldering systems
• Knowledge of main line equipment and automated systems.
• Skills in mechanical, electrotechnical, electronic, and pneumatic fields.
• Troubleshooting capabilities and use of diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of electronic components and soldering processes.
