Your tasks You take on the specialist responsibility for nursing on the ward and promote evidence-based, high-quality patient care You professionally accompany people with illnesses from the schizophrenic spectrum, schizoaffective disorders, or delusional illnesses through demanding treatment phases You support and advise the nursing team in complex nursing issues and promote professional exchange Together with the interdisciplinary treatment team, you further develop nursing concepts and implement current findings into practice You are actively involved in nursing development, initiate improvements, and contribute to the further development of our quality standards You plan, coordinate, and evaluate the nursing process and ensure professional documentation Your profile You have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a diploma as a nursing specialist HF/FH and are ready to complete a Bachelor's degree You bring professional experience in psychiatry and ideally have sound knowledge in the care of people with psychotic illnesses You enjoy helping to shape nursing developments and passing on your knowledge within the team You work independently, responsibly, and maintain an overview even in demanding situations You value interprofessional cooperation and encounter patients with appreciation, empathy, and professionalism You have very good German skills in speaking and writing The UPZ The Universitäre Psychiatrische Zentrum Bern (UPZ) is, as a university clinic, the leading competence center for psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region.
