System Engineer Infrastruktur Job description: Care and further development of the infrastructure landscape as a generalist system engineer Responsibility for the stable and secure operation of systems in the areas of Compute, Virtualization, Storage, Firewalling and Network Ensuring availability, performance and security of the infrastructure in a security-critical environment Participation in the continuous optimization and further development of the existing infrastructure Close cooperation with internal departments and stakeholders on site Assumption of a fixed, dedicated role in the team without resource sharing – thereby high continuity and deep system knowledge over the entire project duration About the customer: Our customer operates a critical infrastructure with the highest demands on availability, security and stability of IT systems. To strengthen the infrastructure team, an experienced system engineer is sought who, as a fixed resource (1x FTE, no sharing across multiple people), takes on long-term responsibility for central infrastructure areas. The position is located on site, with its own parking spaces directly on site. Due to the special requirements of the environment, the position is currently designed as presence work; a possible future remote regulation is currently still open.
