Senior Administrative Officer

Integrated into the billing department, you will join a specialized team at the heart of the hospital's tariff challenges. In this function with a strong expertise component, you will contribute to ensuring the correct and efficient execution of TARDOC and outpatient flat rates, while supporting departments in the evolution of their practices.

Your mission

Within the "outpatient tariff expertise" sector, you:

• develop and maintain in-depth expertise in TARDOC, outpatient flat rates and associated billing rules;
• ensure the correct application of current tariff structures and conventions and analyze complex billing situations;
• support and advise medical, nursing and administrative departments on questions related to outpatient pricing;
• actively participate in the optimization of billing processes and the improvement of data quality necessary for complete and compliant billing;
• analyze tariff, regulatory and conventional developments and contribute to their operational implementation within the HFR;
• identify the impacts of new tariff rules on processes and propose the necessary adaptations;
• monitor the quality and consistency of service entry and contribute to identifying potential for improvement;
• design and lead training and information actions for the various departments concerned;
• collaborate closely with tariff experts, billing teams as well as with the different professions involved in the care and billing process;
• participate in the development and analysis of reporting and indicators allowing the monitoring of outpatient billing quality and performance;
• contribute through your expertise and your field knowledge to the continuous development of the sector.

Your profile

• training in the healthcare field, HEG or training deemed equivalent;
• several years of experience in the healthcare field, billing, medical pricing or in a comparable function;
• good knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system and the main insurance bases (LAMal, LAA, etc.);
• mastery of outpatient medical pricing; experience with TARDOC constitutes an important asset;
• ability to analyze and process complex issues with rigor and pragmatism;
• ease in transmitting knowledge and ability to advise and convince interlocutors with varied profiles;
• sense of responsibility, autonomy and spirit of initiative;
• taste for transversal work and excellent ability to collaborate within a team;
• very good mastery of IT and office tools;
• mastery of the French language with good knowledge of the German language.
