Ittigen \| 80-100% The contribution you can make <br /> • Direct the military health system and guarantee effective interaction with the civilian health system • Direct the Military Health administrative unit and the Military Medical Service from a strategic, operational, and personnel perspective • Define medico-military criteria regarding assistance, prevention, fitness assessment, instruction, training, and research • In collaboration with the Army Pharmacy, guarantee the operational readiness of the army in the medical and medico-logistics field, as well as, on a technical level, the supply of pharmaceutical products and medical devices • Provide advice to the Chief of the Army, to the Army Command, to the Head of the Army Logistics Base, as well as to the Head of the DDPS and to the Government on issues relating to health services and military medicine • Represent the interests of the military health system in management bodies and in national and international specialist commissions <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • Military doctor/physician with a license, in possession of a federal diploma or a federally recognized diploma in medicine, with a doctorate or equivalent qualification as well as specialist medical title and several years of clinical experience in a specialist field relevant to military medicine • Advanced training in management at MAS, MBA, EMBA level and several years of leadership experience in complex organizations of the health system or in similar institutions • Strong ability to bring together different interest groups and to successfully implement strategic projects • Strong interconnection in the Swiss healthcare landscape as well as with relevant partner organizations • Ideally experience in international assignments or in international strategic bodies • Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and passive knowledge of a third official language <br /> In summary The military health system offers a fundamental contribution to the security and resilience of Switzerland.
