Your tasks – Shape the future of River Advice: Management of financial accounting (general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, fixed asset accounting, periodic accruals) Independent and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to OR and/or Swiss GAAP FER incl. target/actual analysis Support with tax returns Preparation and support of audits, contact person for the auditing body and tax authorities Ad-hoc reports and evaluations Deputizing in the processing of payment transactions Your profile - What you bring with you: Completed commercial basic training (EFZ) or equivalent training Further education in finance and accounting, e.g., Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance and Accounting, fiduciary with federal diploma or in training for it Several years of proven professional experience in financial accounting, ideally as a general ledger accountant or in a fiduciary company Confident handling of Swiss accounting and tax law (OR, Swiss GAAP FER and/or IFRS) Experience in dealing with auditing bodies and authorities is an advantage German and English in spoken and written form Independent and accurate way of working, sense of responsibility, reliability, initiative, analytical and networked thinking Confident use of the common M365 programs Ideally you have knowledge of SAP Business One and Lucanet What awaits you at River Advice: In return, we offer you thorough induction and a varied area of responsibility in a lively industry, office space in direct proximity to the SBB station in Basel, long-term development opportunities within the UNITED WATERWAYS group and a friendly, international and experienced team in an expanding company.
