Clinical Assistant (w/m/d) for clinical research in pulmonary hypertension, Clinic for Pneumology 50%

As a Clinical Assistant, you will take on a central and independent role in the coordination and implementation of clinical studies. You are responsible for the planning, organization, and operational implementation of study processes and ensure compliance with study protocols. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary research team. Together, you will ensure high-quality data collection and optimal care for the study participants. Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees work every day for the well-being of our patients. ### Your main tasks • Plan, prepare, conduct, and process patient visits within the framework of clinical studies • Recording, transferring, and processing study data • Close cooperation with the multidisciplinary team • Conducting study visits: collection of vital parameters (blood pressure, pulse, SpO2), height and weight, performance and/or further processing of 6-minute walk tests, blood sampling, EKGs, and pulmonary function tests, preparation and administration of study medication, training study participants on the handling and independent administration of the study medication, supporting study participants in the collection of patient-reported outcomes (questionnaires), temporal and task-specific coordination with the study physicians • Active participation in training and meetings to maintain and expand specialist knowledge and understanding of new developments in clinical research Your profile • Completed training as Fachfrau Gesundheit / Fachmann Gesundheit EFZ, medizinische Praxisassistentin / medizinischer Praxisassistent EFZ, or comparable medical training • Experience in conducting clinical studies and applicable ethical and regulatory regulations is an advantage • Enjoyment of direct contact with patients • Ability to work independently and responsibly • Organizational skills and multitasking ability • Flexibility regarding requirements and priorities • High level of care and accuracy in data collection and documentation Our benefits • An exciting and varied activity in a highly innovative research environment • Cooperation in an interdisciplinary and committed team • Further education and training opportunities • Place of work at the USZ Campus with regulated working hours About the USZ The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland.
