At Weissenheim Bern, 40 boys and girls with a learning disability or mental impairment as well as social abnormalities attend the special primary school. The majority of the children/adolescents also spend time outside of school at Weissenheim in the weekly or partial boarding facility. The care times and tasks are flexibly oriented towards the needs and resources of the family system. Various therapeutic offers support the development of the children and adolescents. A farm with animals and a garden is part of the pedagogical concept. Weissenheim employs around 70 employees. We are looking for starting 1.9.2026 or by arrangement a Social Pedagogue 40 - 60 % ## Area of responsibility ### • Designing the daily life of the residential group for eight children and adolescents • Reference person work and parental cooperation • Self-managing team: The team shares the team leadership tasks • Interdisciplinary cooperation within the overall team Requirement profile ### • Completed training as a Social Pedagogue HF or FH • Trauma-pedagogical further training or willingness to undergo further training in this area • Team-oriented, resilient personality who enjoys taking responsibility • Warmth, humor, patience and perseverance • Experience in process design with children and adolescents • Willingness to work irregular hours, usually one weekly night shift and one other evening shift • Within the framework of our holiday care and school camps, co-designing three camp/holiday weeks annually We offer ### • Varied and responsible field of activity in a communal school home with a motivated and competent team • The residential group is open from Sunday evening to Friday afternoon during the school weeks. The rest of the weekend is free with the exception of three weekend assignments per year.
