Thus, the department's mission is to effectively detect and treat increasingly frequent and polymorphic pathologies while respecting patients, their loved ones, and the community. The Centre Nicolas Bouvier (CNB) is a free admission space of the Department of Psychiatry located in Belle-Idée. It promotes exchanges and encounters in a non-medical setting. Open to cultural life and creativity, it serves as a bridge between psychiatric care and the community. It offers various activities throughout the year, led by the team or external contributors. Job Description ## As a driving force, you want to contribute to the projects of a major institution like the HUG and identify with our institutional values? As a social educator in psychiatry, you support the recovery process by integrating patients into a social fabric outside of medical care, through spaces that stimulate autonomy, initiative, personal interest, and interpersonal respect. You collaborate with hospital units, cultural services, the Réseau Santé Sport Inclusion (RSSI), and the social network. You coordinate, support, and develop activities using various forms of mediation to help patients find a balance between personal interest and social activity during hospitalization. While ensuring the smooth operation of the CNB, preserving the integrity of users, locations, and promoting integration. You closely collaborate with the Bistro- association and support their reintegration activities in partnership. You participate in planning, organizing, and implementing events in partnership with hospital and ambulatory care units and/or other internal and external organizations. Your function involves participating in interdisciplinary projects within your department and sharing your practice with the professional network of social educators at the HUG. Qualifications ## You hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Education from a University of Applied Sciences (HES) or an equivalent recognized and registered diploma by the SEFRI. You have good knowledge of mental health and psychiatry. Experience in psychiatry is essential. You have a good understanding of yourself and your own limitations. You have a sense of responsibility and solid knowledge of the socio-cultural network in Geneva.
