To further develop the "Hydroelectric Power Plant Valais", FMV is looking for a Project Manager Environment 80-100% ## In this function, you will work in the Engineering department of the Production division. Your mission Your task is to manage projects related to environmental impacts within the framework of concession applications for new or existing hydroelectric power plants. You will also be responsible for projects for the ecological renovation of hydroelectric power plants (Schwall & Sunk, fish migration and sediment management). You will accompany the projects as an environmental specialist from the planning phase to the implementation of environmental measures. You are a member of interdisciplinary project teams. You will also commission and accompany external environmental offices. Your profile • Master's degree in biology, ecology, environmental natural sciences or environmental engineering (ETH or FH) with in-depth knowledge of environmental impact assessments (water, nature, landscape). Good knowledge of aquatic ecology is an advantage. • Experience with hydroelectric power concession projects, ecological renovation of hydroelectric power plants or river revitalizations is an advantage • Experience in leading interdisciplinary projects • Great interest in the other relevant fields for hydroelectric power projects such as technology, law, spatial planning, hydrology and energy economics • Dynamic and flexible personality with a desire to shape a continuously evolving environment • Ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary project groups • Native language German or French with very good knowledge of the other language Why work with us?
