These are your tasks

• You plan, are responsible for and produce a customer magazine that appears four times a year, aimed at people 60+
• You maintain close contact with the customer as SPoC and implement the jointly developed editorial plan - from the idea for a story to its implementation to approval for printing.
• You think journalistically and conceive corresponding stories together with layout and image
• You assign texts, portraits and interviews to freelance journalists
• You edit all texts from external and internal authors
• You act as a text producer
• You also write texts yourself from time to time
• You contribute to the further development of the magazine

This is what you bring

• Several years of experience in a similar position in (magazine) journalism
• Extensive experience in storytelling, especially in the print sector
• High standards for the quality of texts and extremely careful handling of the German language
• Good knowledge of Indesign and editorial system K4 or Woodwing
• Mental flexibility and a pragmatic approach to work
• Great commitment and resilience
• High social competence and team ability
• Confident and friendly demeanor
• Sense of topics related to aging
• Basic knowledge of aging issues and interest in social and (age-) political developments in Switzerland
