Nanny

A lovely, warm family of 3 with a son who is 21 months old is moving from the US to Luzern and needs a nanny to start in November.

Hours - Monday to Friday 45 hours per week

Main responsibilities :

Taking the child outside every day: playgrounds, walks, parks, age-appropriate activities
Preparing simple meals/snacks and feeding him
Diapering, dressing and general toddler care
Supporting his nap/rest routine
Keeping his play and eating areas reasonably tidy
Organizing age-appropriate activities and outings
Helping him develop independence through play, conversation and everyday activities
Light housekeeping for the child

What they are looking for:

Warm, calm and emotionally attuned
Reliable and responsible
Genuinely enjoys spending time with toddlers
Comfortable setting calm and consistent boundaries
Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do
Good judgment and strong safety awareness
Comfortable communicating with parents and giving a short daily update

Experience:

Experience with toddlers, ideally 1–3 years old
References from previous families
First aid training for children is a plus

Practical requirements:

English speaker, Russian is a strong plus
Comfortable with parents working from home
Non-smoker

Open to live-in as well.
